Job Summary

LANCASTER COUNTY WATER & SEWER DISTRICT is seeking a skilled Sewer Construction Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Sewer Department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our sewer systems. If you have experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain sewer systems, including pipes, pumps, and other equipment
Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes
Perform general maintenance and ensure cleanliness of all District equipment and vehicles
Locate underground utilities before digging
Flag and direct traffic, and place signs around work zones to ensure safety

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One year of experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License and a D Wastewater Collection License
