Position Summary

We are in search of a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to aid our Store Manager in overseeing operations at our new location. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient store operations, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, team leadership, and operational effectiveness. This position is perfect for an ambitious individual eager to enhance their management expertise in a lively and enjoyable setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Assist with daily store functions, including opening and closing tasks, inventory oversight, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Team Leadership: Help in the recruitment, training, and supervision of store staff. Assist in creating work schedules, managing leave requests, and ensuring sufficient staffing.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service and assist in resolving customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales and Promotions: Support the execution of sales strategies and marketing campaigns to boost sales and enhance customer interaction. Monitor and evaluate sales metrics.
  • Financial Oversight: Aid in managing the store's financial operations, including payroll, expenses, and inventory management. Contribute to regular financial reporting and assessments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in retail or food service management, ideally within a frozen yogurt or comparable setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with a focus on motivation and development.
  • Customer Orientation: A solid commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications. Familiarity with Aloha or Toast POS is advantageous.
