Position Summary

We are looking for a driven and experienced Retail Operations Leader to manage our team at a new location. The Retail Operations Leader will oversee the store's overall performance, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, managing personnel, and maintaining efficient operational processes. This position requires a proactive leader capable of boosting sales, cultivating a positive workplace culture, and enhancing the NuYo brand through outstanding service and community involvement. The Retail Operations Leader will also be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize store profitability while upholding the highest standards of product quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Management: Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing duties, inventory oversight, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage store staff. Create work schedules, handle time-off requests, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Customer Engagement: Guarantee that exceptional customer service is delivered consistently. Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales & Promotion: Execute sales strategies and marketing initiatives to enhance sales and customer interaction. Monitor and evaluate sales performance.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the store's financials, including payroll, expenses, and inventory costs. Conduct regular financial reporting and analysis.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash handling processes, including till management, cash deposits, and ensuring accurate cash flow.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in retail or food service management, ideally in a frozen yogurt or similar setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Capacity to inspire and develop a team.
  • Customer Orientation: Strong dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management capabilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications. Familiarity with Aloha or Toast POS is advantageous.
