Position Overview:

Fondomonte Arizona, LLC is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to contribute to our innovative agricultural operations. This role is essential for executing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks related to structural metal products and diverse materials.


Key Responsibilities:


- Fabricate and assemble finished metal products.
- Install and maintain various machinery and components.
- Perform welding on steel parts according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient fabrication and welding of multi-component assemblies.
- Engage in cross-training to support various job functions as needed.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and report any repair needs to supervisors.
- Safely operate tools and machinery, including forklifts, hoists, and cutting equipment.
- Execute hardfacing on equipment such as skid loader buckets and tillage machinery.
- Repair agricultural machinery that may malfunction in the field.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of protective gear.


Qualifications:

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints for fabrication purposes.
- Experience in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cutting tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
- Solid understanding of welding techniques and principles.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid welding certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience is necessary.
- Comprehensive knowledge of welding machinery and tools is essential.


Work Environment:

Flexibility in work hours is expected, including potential weekend shifts based on operational needs. This position may involve outdoor work and requires the ability to lift and carry equipment as necessary.
