Structural Welding Expert

Fondomonte Arizona LLC is seeking a dedicated Welder/Fabricator Technician to become an integral part of our innovative agricultural team. This role is primarily focused on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks involving structural sheet metal products and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and assemble finished metal products
• Conduct installation and maintenance of various machinery and components
• Utilize welding equipment to join steel components according to layouts, engineering specifications, or verbal directives
• Execute welding and fabrication of heavy machinery parts and assemblies, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component assemblies
• Demonstrate willingness to cross-train and perform additional job functions as required
• Inspect machinery to ensure operational efficiency and report any repair needs to the supervisor or maintenance team
• Safely operate various tools and equipment, including forklifts, hoists, grinders, and cutting torches
• Perform hardfacing on skid loader buckets and tillage equipment
• Repair agricultural machinery such as seeders and spreaders
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of protective gear
• Monitor equipment usage and temperature to maintain safety standards
• Weld components in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary by the department or shift lead

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials; aluminum welding is advantageous
• Skilled in using cutting torches, grinders, and ironworkers
• Familiarity with measuring tools for part inspection
• Strong understanding of welding principles and techniques
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/push up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Preferred: Valid welding certification from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of welding machinery and manual tools
• Exceptional attention to detail

Work Environment:

• Flexible work hours based on operational needs, including potential weekend shifts
• Experience in the agricultural sector is a plus

Compensation:

Pay range: $19.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM & Saturday 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM with variable hours as needed
