Fondomonte Arizona LLC is seeking a dedicated Welder/Fabricator Technician to become an integral part of our innovative agricultural team. This role is primarily focused on the welding and fabrication of structural metal products and various other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Fabricate and assemble finished metal products.
- Repair and install diverse equipment and components.
- Utilize welding equipment to join steel components according to specifications, including layouts and engineering drawings.
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks on heavy machinery parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate efforts in the fabrication and welding of multi-component assemblies.
- Demonstrate flexibility by cross-training in various job functions beyond the primary role.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and report any repair needs to the supervisor.
- Safely operate various tools and machinery, including forklifts, hoists, and cutting equipment.
- Perform hardfacing on agricultural equipment and repair machinery as needed.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of protective gear.
- Monitor machinery performance and temperature during operations.
- Weld in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints for fabrication.
- Experience with welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and familiarity with aluminum is advantageous.
- Skilled in using cutting torches, grinders, and other metalworking tools.
- Knowledgeable in welding principles and techniques.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid welding certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
- Strong understanding of welding machinery and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Flexibility in work hours is required based on operational needs.
- Experience in the agricultural sector is a plus.
