Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal products to meet project specifications.
- Conduct installation and repair of diverse machinery and components.
- Utilize welding equipment to join steel parts according to engineering designs and directives.
- Perform welding and fabrication on heavy machinery components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the fabrication and welding of complex parts.
- Be open to cross-training and engaging in additional tasks beyond primary responsibilities.
- Inspect machinery to ensure operational efficiency and report any maintenance needs.
- Safely operate various tools and equipment, including forklifts, grinders, and cutting torches.
- Engage in hardfacing of equipment components and repair agricultural machinery as needed.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of protective gear.
- Monitor equipment usage and maintain appropriate operating temperatures.
- Weld in various positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary by supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints for fabrication tasks.
- Experience in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and familiarity with aluminum is advantageous.
- Skilled in using cutting torches, grinders, and other metalworking tools.
- Knowledgeable in measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Strong understanding of welding principles and methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid welding certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience is necessary.
- Comprehensive knowledge of welding machinery and manual tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.

- Experience in the agricultural sector is a plus.
