Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
  • Register patients for exams and procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and communicate with patients regarding payment options
  • Manage patient payments and establish payment arrangements as needed
  • Perform other administrative tasks related to patient access and registration
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a patient access or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic medical terminology a plus
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent sitting and walking, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typically indoors, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a stressful atmosphere and possess near visual acuity to read documents and computer records.
