Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our hospital. Your primary responsibilities will include performing check-in, registration, and scheduling functions, as well as addressing inquiries via telephone, email, or fax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient registration and check-in functions, ensuring accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to schedule appointments and procedures, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Utilize the Care Model Process (CMP) guidelines to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; two years of customer service experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting, or a formal training program in medical reception or customer service, preferred.
  • Two-year degree in a related field is a plus.
