Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to perform a variety of tasks including registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry, collection of co-pays, and medical records functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical scheduling and be responsible for handling referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register and schedule outpatient appointments efficiently.
- Perform charge entry and ensure accurate billing.
- Collect co-pays and manage patient financial interactions.
- Maintain and update medical records.
- Handle patient referrals as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and healthcare systems.
