Government Services Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Services Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing our government marketplace, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a business development plan to identify and capture new business opportunities
  • Monitor government agency websites for new requests for proposals (RFPs) and analyze them to determine if they are worth pursuing
  • Conduct sales calls with government agencies to develop business opportunities and shape RFPs
  • Organize and attend business development events to build relationships with government agencies
  • Assist in the development and execution of annual business strategy and plans
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of field sales or comparable professional experience
  • Initiative-based, proven success in autonomous work environments
  • Team player with leadership abilities, goal-oriented, and results-driven
  • Capable of succeeding in a highly dynamic environment
  • Highly organized and able to concurrently handle multiple tasks and projects
