Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team at Ledgent Finance & Accounting. This role will be pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate closure of the books for our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for management review.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data.
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and GAAP.
  • Provide support for audits conducted by external auditors.
  • Maintain and control the general ledger to ensure proper classification, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Cash and banking transactions and reconciliation.
  • Provide recurring and ad-hoc financial reporting support for internal departments.
  • Assist in the administration of corporate administrative items, such as state filings and licenses.
  • Support future company acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and closing processes
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Pay is DOE, with a range of $75,000 to $80,000.
