Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to facilitate accurate financial reporting and analysis for our clients in the Property Management sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insightful reports to clients.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and related schedules in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and policies.
  • Maintain and update financial records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and clients.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to streamline financial operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
