Clinical Faculty Position in Radiation Oncology

Department: Radiation Oncology
Overview:
The Department of Radiation Oncology is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Clinical Faculty role, with the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, based on the applicant's experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering collaborative relationships across disciplines to ensure superior patient care and will have a keen interest in clinical research and resident training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of patient care and treatment in radiation therapy, with a focus on specific disease sites.
- Currently, there are opportunities to lead or contribute to care in primary disease areas such as Gynecological, Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal, Lung, and Sarcoma.
- Engage in resident education and contribute to research or other scholarly activities.
The department is well-equipped with robust infrastructure and significant financial resources to support statistical analysis, grant writing, publication efforts, travel for academic pursuits, and continuing medical education (CME).
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess an MD degree and have completed a four-year residency in an accredited radiation oncology program. Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology is required, along with eligibility for a medical license.
Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in radiation oncology and a background in clinical research.
