About the Position
The Department of Medicine at the University of Florida is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a full-time faculty clinical investigator clinician-research track position in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. This position is available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and other collaborative research involving patients with hematologic malignancies, blood and marrow transplantation, and cellular immunotherapy.
- Work closely with laboratory scientists for translational research and develop investigator-initiated clinical trials.
- Provide clinical care to patients with hematologic malignancies and blood and marrow transplantation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research protocols and studies.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers to advance the field of hematology and oncology.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Eligible for a Florida Medical License.
- Strong research and clinical skills, with a focus on hematologic malignancies and blood and marrow transplantation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
