Senior Account Manager

Resideo is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing market share, uncovering new opportunities, and driving sales that result in long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Share Growth: Perform sales efforts to convert potential customers to ADI customers.
- Customer Relationship Strengthening: Support customer service efforts, conduct follow-up calls, educate customers about new product lines, and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Market Intelligence and Growth Opportunities: Proactively gather market intelligence, identify growth opportunities, and deliver sales wins.
- Internal Relationships: Foster positive relationships within the ADI organization to encourage team sales and prioritize customer service.
- Customer Training: Implement various customer training programs to drive sales growth in assigned territories.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma, preferably 2 years of industry experience or trade school.
- 2+ years of sales experience: CCTV, IP, AV technologies, Security, and Fire.
- Valid Driver's License, clean motor vehicle history, and a driving record in good standing.
- Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
- Ability to learn quickly, process high call volume, and think outside the box.
- Strong work ethic, do what it takes to get the job done approach while maintaining high business ethical standards.
- Strong customer service, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently without close supervision, and have a team mentality.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel per business needs; up to 75%.

- Experience working at a Retail Office Supply store is a plus.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Experience working with high-value daily spending and a large product profile.

- Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.

- You are eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). This incentive is considered variable incentive pay. You can earn an annual sales incentive which is expressed as a percentage (SIP 53.85%) of your annual salary. This amount will be prorated based on your hire date. Attaining your sales targets will allow you to achieve 100% of your variable incentive pay. However, overdriving those targets will enable you to increase your variable incentive pay for the SIP performance period.
