About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Career Development Specialist to join our team at NH Job Corps in Manchester, NH. As a Career Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our students achieve their career goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, counseling, or a related field, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 11 paid holidays, paid vacation, 401(k) matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing career plans for our students, providing job development activities, and conducting comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicants' eligibility for the Job Corps Program.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or a closely related field from an accredited school. Alternatively, you may have an associate's degree in a related field and two years of related experience. A valid in-state driver's license and Department of Labor approval are also required.

The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work effectively as part of a team. They will also be able to observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
