Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Software Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in developing automated and manual tests for innovative medical devices. As a key member of our software development team, you will work closely with software engineers and other test professionals to implement test software and infrastructure for medical device software.

About the Role

  • Develop and document automated and manual test cases for software requirements.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to develop unit tests and run test procedures.
  • Provide input for defining software requirements and attend code reviews for production code and test code.
  • Co-develop test infrastructure to communicate with devices and software-under-test.
  • Analyze code coverage metrics and update tests to achieve additional coverage.

Requirements

To be successful as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a group environment.
  • Working knowledge of Java or Kotlin is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
