Job Title: Therapist - Forensic Treatment Specialist

Project 180 Inc. is seeking a skilled Therapist - Forensic Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide intensive, wraparound, field-based clinical services to clients with a forensic dual-diagnosed background.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a mental health field and be licensed or registered with the relevant licensing body. Experience working with culturally diverse populations and a valid CA driver's license are also required.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and providing individual and group sessions to assist clients with stability and recovery. The successful candidate will be able to develop strong working relationships with clients and support them in making meaningful progress towards their individualized goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide intensive, wraparound, field-based clinical services to support client goals
  • Actively engage clients in clinical services through the development of strong rapport, consistent contact, and the use of motivational interviewing
  • Ensure service delivery is consistent with ethical standards within a harm reduction, strength-based, trauma-informed framework
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate client care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or mental health field from an accredited college or university
  • Valid license or registration with licensing body
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations
  • Valid CA driver's license and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lived experience with homelessness, mental health/substance use recovery, or the criminal justice system
  • Experience working with the forensic and/or dual-diagnosed populations
  • Knowledge of and experience with providing trauma-informed services

Pay Scale: $35.76-$39.34/hour

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Environmental Conditions: Job duties are to be performed both in office and field settings throughout LA County
