About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Product Marketing to scale our Product Marketing organization and drive demand and adoption of our product suite within our target market.

This role is primarily responsible for driving and executing go-to-market strategies for product launches and releases, defining product messaging, positioning, and differentiation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in product marketing at a B2B SaaS organization, demonstrating expertise in driving successful product strategies leading to business impact.

The Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for owning and driving go-to-market strategies and plans for a diverse portfolio of products, developing target customer segments, ICPs, personas, and points of competitive differentiation.

They will collaborate with both internal and external teams to refine product positioning and product-market fit through in-depth market research on trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs.

The Director will manage end-to-end product launches and releases, serving as the primary liaison between the product marketing team and internal departments, and provide regular updates on the status of product launches and distribution.

They will conduct customer and user interviews to gain insights into customer business needs and pain points to inform both internal education and external content creation.

The Director will conduct regular win/loss analyses to identify key insights and actionable recommendations for product improvements and messaging optimization.

They will translate complex technical features and capabilities into compelling and effective content, including white papers, case studies, sales collateral, and more.

The Director will serve as the connective tissue between the product organization and our GTM team, including process optimization and ongoing support.

They will define and measure the impact of Product Marketing strategy.

The Director will mentor and coach the product marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve goals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and releases
  • Define product messaging, positioning, and differentiation
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to refine product positioning and product-market fit

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of a proven track record of success in product marketing at a B2B SaaS organization
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving successful product strategies leading to business impact
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities to navigate complex market dynamics and measure impact
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
