About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team at TopMark Funding, LLC. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing your own book of business, prospecting commercial equipment dealers and business owners, and educating them on our financing options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing new business and origination sources
  • Executing timely follow-up and lead management
  • Creating and nurturing business relationships
  • Identifying eligibility requirements for financing and communicating these during calls with prospective clients
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining a consistent flow of transactions
  • Meeting and exceeding sales origination activity standards
  • Structuring equipment finance and working capital transactions
  • Negotiating agreements and keeping records of sales and data using Salesforce.com
  • Proactively driving account management from application to funding
  • Reviewing credit approvals and assisting with training customers on what is required to receive faster approvals
  • Understanding all steps needed to ensure the production of transactions are moving forward
  • Managing the sales side by guiding the client through the approval and funding of the transaction
  • Maintaining high levels of communication with your clients and the Credit and Funding departments to ensure all items required to fund the transaction are understood by the client, completed correctly, and received timely
  • Following up with past clients to source repeat business
  • Working diligently and in a manner that allows you to achieve and exceed your monthly sales quotas
  • Bringing a positive and competitive attitude to work
Requirements
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience specifically in originating equipment finance transactions in a broker business model and/or comparable experience at an F&I Department of an equipment dealer or the equipment finance department of a specialty lender or bank
  • Excellent phone and email communication
  • Strength in building relationships is required
  • High School diploma is required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance, or Communications related field is a plus, but not required
  • Must pass the pre-employment aptitude testing
What We Offer
  • A strong base salary, commission, and access to a draw pool during the first 6-months
  • A full commission compensation plan that provides significantly more earning potential after the 6-month ramp-up period
  • Average potential is 200 - 500k
  • Club 300K: All Account Executives at TopMark Funding are eligible to participate in Club $300K, an all-expenses-paid sales trip that occurs annually for those Account Executives (and a guest) who exceed $300K in funded gross margin during the prior calendar year
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision packages following the first of the month after 30 days of employment
  • Schedule: Mon-Friday work schedule with a casual-casual dress code when in office
