Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Vice Chief for Clinical Affairs, Division of Pediatric Human Genetics. This is a unique opportunity for an academic pediatrician to lead the clinical programs in the Division and contribute to the growth and development of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide the clinical programs in the Division, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the integration of clinical programs across the Division.
  • Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Participate in the educational mission of the Division, including clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Administer clinical services, including outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on clinical investigation and scholarship.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree, or equivalent.
  • Certification in Clinical Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.
  • Experience in program leadership and management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in academic clinical enterprise management.
  • Strong vision for growth and development.
  • Collegial decision-making skills.
