Position Overview
This leadership role encompasses the financial, administrative, operational, managerial, human resources, and strategic planning aspects related to assigned divisions within the organization. The responsibilities cover all areas of the divisional, departmental, and institutional missions, including administrative oversight for clinical care, education, and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight: Accountable for managing financial operations, overseeing the operating budget, preparing annual budgets, providing variance reports, conducting performance analysis, and managing special purpose accounts and capital budgets.
  • Operational Leadership: Collaborates with the Division Chief to provide strategic direction and operational guidance for all division initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence that aligns with the organization’s mission and values.
  • Human Resources Management: Works alongside the Division Chief to coordinate recruitment, promotion, and retention efforts for staff, ensuring compliance with applicable policies. Responsible for selection, credentialing, productivity, compensation, training, and payroll processing.
  • Strategic Development: Engages with the Division Chief and relevant departments to analyze the competitive landscape for divisional services, identifying growth opportunities and potential market threats, and developing actionable business plans.
  • Community Engagement: Actively participates in various departmental and community service activities, including committee involvement and project team contributions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten years of leadership experience in academic, medical, or practice management required; twelve years preferred. At least seven years of management experience preferred.
