Job Summary

  • Implementation Specialist - Coordinates and provides technical support for MEDITECH Expanse implementation. Responsibilities include working with the Implementation Team to ensure timely and successful implementation of clinical applications.
  • Clinical Application Integration Coordinator - Coordinates and provides technical support for the integration of clinical applications with MEDITECH Expanse. Responsibilities include working with the Technical Lead to ensure seamless integration and providing hands-on support in clinical departments.
  • Technical Project Manager - Oversees the technical aspects of MEDITECH Expanse implementation, including project management, risk assessment, and communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities include working with the CIO, Site Project Manager, and other IT Analysts to ensure a consistent approach is followed throughout the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the MEDITECH Implementation Team to coordinate resources for integrated trainings, on-site sessions, webinar presentations, and conference calls.
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed of all events affecting the timely implementation of MEDITECH Expanse.
  • Conduct internal project status meetings with team leads for their respective applications.
  • Review current state workflows and organize and maintain future state workflow redesign.
  • Develop, utilize, and maintain project management tools to ensure implementation deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary work related to content development, workflow redesign, and integration.
  • Perform risk assessment and management.
  • Conduct and organize pre-implementation and implementation events with MEDITECH.
  • Become familiar with Medpower education tools for training end users.
  • Develop knowledge of key functionalities and integration points.
  • Develop knowledge of MEDITECH reporting tools (Report Designer, Writer, Data Repository, and Business and Clinical Analytics) for customized reports.
  • Facilitate communication between MEDITECH, the site, and contracted third-party vendors.
