Financial Reporting Specialist

Covenant House Incorporated is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Financial Reporting Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements, and preparing financial reports. Additionally, they will assist with audits and budgeting processes, and reconcile accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to the management team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounting or a related field
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Experience with MIP Accounting Software is a plus
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
