We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Mortgage Closer to join our team at Lake Michigan Credit Union. As a Junior Mortgage Closer, you will be responsible for verifying information and coordinating funding for closing mortgage loans. Key Responsibilities
  • Review reports and prepare loans for funding, working closely with the Wires department to ensure timely disbursements.
  • Identify loans requiring Verbal Verification of Employment and obtain necessary documentation from employers.
  • Confirm loan closings with title companies and review documents to complete disbursements as required.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar or related position.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone presence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
