Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinical Procedural Coordinator in our esteemed healthcare institution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting procedural area scheduling systems, ensuring seamless coordination of surgical procedures and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and update scheduling data, monitor, and verify clinical information to ensure accurate procedural area schedules.
  • Collaborate with physicians, procedural area leadership, and staff to make adjustments to the procedural area schedule and communicate changes as necessary.
  • Conduct weekly and daily clinical reviews of the surgical schedule to ensure procedures are posted correctly, including case accuracy and equipment availability.
  • Review case posting for accuracy based on clinical notes and communication with providers.
  • Post add-on cases and emergency cases to the scheduling system as required.
Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and/or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an acute care hospital operating room as a circulating RN is required.
  • Must be able to utilize and display critical thinking skills, independent thinking.
  • Must be able to accurately and professionally communicate with the medical staff, nursing staff, patients, and their family members.
