Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Procedural Coordinator Registered Nurse to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the procedural area schedule, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the procedural area schedule, ensuring accurate and timely posting of procedures.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams, physicians, and clinic requestors to make adjustments to the procedural area schedule and communicate changes as needed.
  • Provide weekly and daily clinical review of the surgical schedule to ensure procedures are posted correctly.
  • Post add-on cases and emergency cases to the scheduling system as required.
  • Review and manage the add-on list to efficiently eliminate free space and downtime within procedural areas/operating rooms.
Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and/or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an acute care hospital operating room as a circulating RN is required.
  • Must be able to accurately and professionally communicate with medical staff, nursing staff, patients, and their family members.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, including the ability to work on several critical projects simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in computer technology and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
