Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse, Clinical Procedural Coordinator, to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our procedural area scheduling team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the procedural area scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update scheduling data, monitor, clinical verify, confirm, and publish the final procedural area schedules.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams across procedural areas, physicians, and clinic requestors to make adjustments to the procedural area schedule and communicate changes to physicians, clinical offices, and others as appropriate.
  • Review case posting for accuracy based on clinical notes and communication with providers.
  • Post add-on cases and emergency cases to the scheduling system as required.

Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and/or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an acute care hospital operating room as a circulating RN is required.
  • Must be able to utilize and display critical thinking skills, independent thinking.
  • Must be able to accurately and professionally communicate with the medical staff, nursing staff, patients, and their family members.
