Job Summary

The Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist plays a vital role in the imaging department of San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, performing prescribed CT scan procedures and exams on patients. This position requires independent judgment and initiative, with a focus on ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scan procedures and exams on patients, adhering to ALARA principles and hospital protocols.
  • Coordinate patient flow and activities of the CT scanner, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of exams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Completion of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist in the State of California in good standing.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ARRT in Radiology, with CT ARRT preferred.
  • At least six months to one year of prior experience as a CT Technologist.

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital offers a competitive compensation package, including estimated pay of $40.25 to $54.00 per hour based on qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, optional supplemental life, flexible spending accounts, 403b retirement with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, paid time off, and more.
