Role Expectations:

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? We are seeking an individual who possesses, or is eager to develop, a distinctive blend of Revenue Cycle expertise and analytical skills. This role will primarily focus on supporting the upkeep of the Charge Master (CDM), which involves research, auditing, thorough documentation, and processing requests. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: generating ad-hoc reports; conducting research and analysis on patient revenue, reimbursement, and Revenue Cycle performance metrics; and providing analytical support by participating in or leading various process enhancement and requirement gathering initiatives. This position offers the chance to collaborate with other departments within the health system in support of designated clinical service lines. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for problem-solving and assisting others are essential.

  • Conducts fundamental statistical, cost, and revenue analyses utilizing various revenue systems.
  • Aids in the daily, weekly, and monthly revenue closing processes, along with revenue reporting and reconciliation.
  • Detects discrepancies in reconciliation files across multiple workflows and business units for various sites and external partners.
  • Prepares revenue and deferred revenue reports to fulfill internal and external requirements.
  • Analyzes claims data to uncover contractual underpayments and billing inaccuracies.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
