We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team at Sloan, a leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems. As a Field Services Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and operation of our products in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site assessments to understand existing plumbing systems, products, and performance
  • Analyze upstream and downstream conditions to identify areas for improvement
  • Make recommendations on plumbing system improvements, product selection, and testing
  • Travel to project sites to perform start-up, integration, and training services
  • Perform on-site field investigations and troubleshooting to resolve product issues
  • Capture and analyze field data to mitigate product failures and aid in new product development
  • Provide direction and support to the Sloan Service Network during new product launches
  • Develop and deliver training seminars on maintenance, repair, operation, and troubleshooting of Sloan products
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of related work experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience in advanced troubleshooting methods and field quality assessment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes
  • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • General knowledge of plumbing control systems
  • Knowledge of and experience with developing testing/auditing programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proven skills with positive customer interactions
  • Ability to work independently and submit timely reports
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office products
  • SAP familiarity a plus
