Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team at Tri City Rentals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, resolving discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain payroll information by collating, calculating, and entering data with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Update payroll records by entering changes to employee information, benefits, and job titles.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain all payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process and issue W-2 forms to employees.
  • Receive new hire packets, complete checklists, and create new employee profiles in ADP.
  • Assist in performing background checks for potential hires.
  • Filing and organizing employee files.
Requirements
  • Strong computer skills, including typing, system, and software knowledge.
  • Accurate data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with employees.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Confidentiality and respect for employee records.
