Founded in 1974, DHJJ has expanded to a dedicated team of approximately 100 professionals across two locations, including skilled CPAs, tax specialists, and business advisors. Our mission extends beyond traditional accounting; we aim to empower our clients in achieving their objectives.
Your Role
We are in search of a detail-oriented and organized multitasker to become a vital part of our administrative support team. Your professionalism will be essential in managing various critical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently organizing and digitizing client tax documentation for seamless integration into our automated systems;
- Collecting detailed information from new clients to facilitate onboarding across multiple platforms, including organizing digital files and establishing client portals;
- Preparing client tax returns for signatures, customizing delivery methods based on client preferences as directed by the accounting team;
- Overseeing the flow of documents through client portals and e-signature services;
- Responding promptly and professionally to daily requests from the accounting team, including notices and updates to client records;
- Providing support to the receptionist as needed, managing phone calls, incoming and outgoing mail, and welcoming clients;
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with professionalism;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work;
- Typing speed of 60 words per minute or more;
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred;
- 2-5 years of experience in an administrative role;
- Experience in the Professional Services sector is advantageous.
