We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Aide/Dishwasher to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef/Director of Dining Services with food preparation, inventory management, and sanitation schedules.
- Prepare meals, manage portion control, and ensure proper diet requirements are met.
- Follow established sanitation programs, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and inspections.
- Receive, inspect, and store supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Wash, scrub, and dry dishes, utensils, and equipment, and maintain dishwashing stations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment checks on dishwashing equipment.
- Transport dishes to the main kitchen for cleaning and assist with setting up and breaking down member/resident events.
- High school graduation or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position desired.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The team member may be exposed to minimal to moderate noise and exposure to blood and/or body fluids.
