Job Title: Retail Buyer TraineeJob Summary

Uptown Cheapskate Murfreesboro is seeking a Retail Buyer Trainee to join our team. As a Retail Buyer Trainee, you will be responsible for participating in buying gently used brand name clothing, accessories, and shoes from customers, providing excellent customer service, and utilizing a point of sale system.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in buying gently used brand name clothing, accessories, and shoes from customers
  • Provide excellent customer service through brand and style knowledge
  • Utilize a point of sale system and problem-solve in-store issues
  • Direct the remainder of the team to ensure smooth and efficient store operation
  • Participate in visual merchandising and overall store appearance
  • Assist with social media postings and/or shoots
  • Perform opening and closing duties and oversee the team in the absence of management
Requirements
  • Love fashion and have a strong interest in current fashion trends
  • Amazing organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrate good work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to act professionally and respectfully towards customers, coworkers, and management
  • Desire to have a career and grow with the company
