We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders, as well as providing education and support to individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to assess their communication skills and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer treatment in a professional and organized manner, adhering to all department and hospital policies.
- Document patient progress and communicate with referral sources, insurance companies, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to performance improvement activities to ensure quality care.
- Maintain a productive caseload and utilize non-scheduled treatment time efficiently.
- Participate in educational in-services, meetings, and community programs to enhance professional development.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Completion of clinical training and NYS licensure or limited license.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
