Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech and language disorders, as well as providing counseling and education to individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess patients with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication skills
- Administer treatment in a professional and organized manner
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure or limited license in New York State
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children preferred
- Knowledge and practice with adult population, including stroke and dysphagia, and Modified Barium Swallow Studies preferred
