Assistant Vice President for Financial Services

St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college, is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Vice President for Financial Services to join our team. As a key member of the Vice President of Business and Finance Leadership Team, this role will provide strategic leadership on financial matters, ensuring the college's financial health and stability.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and management to Financial Planning & Analysis, overseeing the development of operating and capital budgets, and long-range planning processes.
- Lead the optimization of Workday Finance and Adaptive Planning platforms, collaborating closely with external support partners.
- Oversee the investment management accounting and reporting, ensuring the optimization of the College's endowment funds.
- Responsible for cash/treasury management, including analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on the liquidity of the college.
- Recommend, implement, communicate, maintain, and ensure compliance with college financial policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- 10+ years of accounting and financial management experience, preferably in higher education or a complex non-profit organization.
- Progressive leadership and management experience leading a department with broad organizational impact.
- Mastery of current generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards and GASB pronouncements.
- Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and analytical skills necessary to perform complex financial analysis, identify trends, and assess impact on college operations.
