Kettering Health is a leading healthcare provider in southwest Ohio, committed to delivering high-quality care to our community. As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Sort and clean instruments and equipment by hand and/or using automated washers and disinfectants.
  • Assemble, wrap, and package instruments and supplies for use in surgical procedures.
  • Operate STERRAD, steam, and ethylene oxide gas sterilizers to ensure effective sterilization.
  • Pick and prepare instruments, instrument trays, and supplies for surgical procedures in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic computer functions using a Windows-based system as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience and certification in sterile processing or a related field are strongly preferred.
