Title: Industrial Electrical Technician - Mid
Location: Dayton, OH
Salary: $30.37 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM

Job Description
As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Working in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
- Using hand tools on a daily basis, including power tools.
- Working all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as required.
- Working from elevated areas, utilizing fall protection equipment when needed.
- Maintaining compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Utilizing industrial powered vehicles, such as RTFL, Forklift, Aerial Lift, and Scissor Lift.
- Performing calibration and documentation of functions pertaining to flow measurement, level measurement, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting process control loops, using key elements and specialized testing equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Achieving performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
- Communicating with all team members to assist in the development of short- and long-range planning in support of the company's goals and objectives.
- Maintaining personal tools required for the job, including an up-to-date documented personal tool list.
- Meeting physical requirements of the job, which will be provided prior to employment.
- Performing assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
- Accurately and timely completing administrative duties, including time accounting and work order completion.
- Maintaining positive customer and employee relations.
What Makes Me Qualified?
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school degree or an approved GED.
- Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred, but not required. Ability to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state required qualifications; ability to obtain ISA's CCST Level 1 Certification.
- 2-5 years of mechanical experience and/or 1-2 years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include:
- The ability to observe details at close range.
- Control Precision - the ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
- Manual Dexterity - the ability to quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
- Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
- Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
- Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
- Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
- Communication/Expression - the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Information Ordering - the ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.

The work environment for this role includes:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
