Salary:
$25 - $30 per hour

We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Financial Receivables Specialist to enhance our team. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possess a strong affinity for financial analysis and resolution.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing leases, fostering tenant relationships, processing checks, ACH transactions, and utilizing Yardi software.

Your expertise will be vital in ensuring our financial stability and advancing our business objectives.

This role is temporary to hire; however, during the temporary phase, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including 401K. The primary reason for hiring a temporary employee is the current workload and the immediate need for support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in communicating with tenants to facilitate payments, including applying checks to their accounts and transferring ACH from banks to tenant accounts.

Experience in commercial real estate and familiarity with Yardi software are preferred but not mandatory. A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous but not essential.
Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage during the temporary period (75% covered by employer and 25% for dependents)
Work-life balance - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

As a Financial Receivables Specialist, your key responsibilities will encompass:
Managing and supervising all facets of accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and reporting activities.
Overseeing lease administration, ensuring all leases are current and precise.
Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with tenants, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Leveraging Yardi software to optimize accounts receivable processes, enhance accuracy, and produce insightful reports.
Collaborating with finance team members to devise and implement effective financial strategies.
Conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
Identifying opportunities for process enhancement and implementing innovative solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the Mortgage sector.
Demonstrated experience with lease administration, tenant relations, check applications, ACH transactions, and Yardi software.
A solid understanding of accounts receivable principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
