Overview

GPM Investments LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic retail team at our thriving convenience store. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving success and contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee all store operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and enthusiastic store crew, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Employee Engagement: Provide inspirational feedback and coaching to motivate team members, driving performance and productivity.
  • Scheduling: Craft employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory ordering, stocking, and management, ensuring adequate supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Financial Management: Manage key financial aspects, including cash handling, sales reporting, and budgeting, to ensure the store's financial success.
  • Leadership: Step in for the Store Manager as needed, ensuring continuity and maintaining high standards of customer service and store operations.

Requirements

  • Age: 18 years or older (varies by state)
  • Transportation: Access to a reliable vehicle and liability insurance
  • Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Communication: Fluent in English and basic math skills
  • Background Check: Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
