Job Title: Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in the success of our team at Foot And Ankle Specialists. This dynamic individual will provide exceptional support to our physicians and patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with patients and staff.
  • Perform various clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing lab specimens, and assisting with minor procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous healthcare experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Physical Demands:

The Medical Assistant role requires the ability to:

  • Stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional carrying of objects.
  • Perform repetitive motions, including reaching and typing.
  • Work in a dynamic environment, with exposure to blood, fluids, and chemicals.
