Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Lacey, WA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room and exit patients according to protocol
  • Complete all provider referrals for each patient
  • Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians' order; perform venipuncture
  • Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination

Requirements:

  • Washington State MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License with the ability to pass the exam within the 90-day probationary period
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire date and maintenance throughout employment
  • EPIC experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Russian is preferred but not required
