Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Conduct clinical services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and resolve any medication-related issues.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy operations, including inventory management and asset protection.
  • Provide training and coaching to pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care and customer service.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
