Pharmacist Job Description

At United Family Services Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Relations and Satisfaction: Provide pharmaceutical care to all guests and team members, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Maintain the integrity of pharmacy operations within the legal framework, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Goal Achievement: Ensure completion and compliance of goals, tasks, standards, and other job-related criteria assigned to the pharmacy.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain open communication with pharmacy staff to ensure continued growth, development, education, and compliance with evolving pharmacy operations.
  • Leadership and Support: Assist and support the pharmacy manager in overseeing all aspects of the pharmacy operation, including dispensing, counseling, supervision of technicians, and team member management.
  • Patient Care: Monitor patients' drug therapies for effectiveness and safety, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about new drugs and developments in pharmacy practice through continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: BS in Pharmacy and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Licensure: Active and in good standing pharmacist license issued by the Board of Pharmacy of the state(s) in which you are practicing.
  • Preceptorship: Preceptor by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving and management skills, basic accounting and computer skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
