Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time Animal Care General Manager to oversee daily operations and provide exceptional customer service at our South Boston, MA location.

This role earns a competitive salary of $17-$18 per hour, depending on experience. We offer great benefits, including a 401K, employee discounts, free wash services, and performance-based year-end bonuses.

As an Animal Care General Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing operations, balancing the cash register, managing inventory, placing retail distributor orders, assisting groomers with booking appointments, and assisting your team with cleaning duties.

You will also be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, performing nail trimming, and educating owners about canine health and safety.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ANIMAL CARE GENERAL MANAGER:

In this role, you will contribute to our facility's success by leading a cohesive team and providing quality services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in animal care
  • Experience in retail

Some post-secondary education is preferred. If you have a positive attitude, are an animal lover, work well with others, are punctual and reliable, and can provide high-quality customer service, we encourage you to apply.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This role offers stable, part-time work and a schedule of Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays (with option to add a fourth day).

Estimated salary: $35,400 - $37,440 per year based on 20 hours/week and $17/hour.
