Job Overview

Compunnel seeks a skilled Medical Director to lead our Cardiac Arrhythmia Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac care to take on a leadership role and drive patient care excellence.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They will also direct and guide patient teaching and oversee activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient care in the Cardiac Arrhythmia Unit.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Direct and guide patient education, ensuring patients receive accurate information about their condition, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Oversee the work of ancillary personnel, promoting a collaborative and respectful team environment.
• Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in cardiac care.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• ACLS/BLS certification required; additional cardiac care certifications preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
