Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Provide medication administration services to residents, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of medications and treatments.
  • Resident Care: Conduct Service and Health Updates, participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), and transcribe orders as needed.
  • Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
Requirements
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
  • Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
